Navelgazing are a group of 4 comedy writer-performers, currently based at TalkbackThames, the UK's leading independent production company. The first project from that partnership is Toyboize, which began life as a series on YouTube in 2008. Following online success, Toyboize became the first UK comedy to make the jump from web to TV when it aired on Dave TV in 2009. On top of this Toyboize was nominated for a BAFTA in 2009 in the TV Craft category for Interactive Creative Contribution. As well as Toyboize, Navelgazing are developing several other broadcast and online projects in partnership with TalkbackThames.
Their previous writing credits include commissions with BBC Radio & TV, ITV, Channel 4 and the BBC Films short Uncle Douglas, which earned official selection at Toronto and Clermont Ferrand Short Film Festivals.
